including medical and cosmetic dermatology, skin pathology and dermatologic surgery. Dermatologists are physicians who after completing their
general medical training and at least one year of internal medicine, spend a minimum of three full years learning about specific diseases of the skin and how they relate to all other fields of medicine. Our practice

Medical Dermatology This involves
the treatment of diseases of the skin, hair and nails. Some examples of diseases and conditions in our specialty include eruptions of the skin associated with:
- Pregnancy - Pediatric skin diseases - Eczema - Contact dermatitis - Occupational dermatology
- Photosensitivity disorders - Nail disorders |
- Acne and adolescent skin problems - Hives - Psoriasis - Pigmentation disorders
- Mouth ulcers (disorders of oral mucosa) - Fungal and yeast infections - Diseases of hair including male and female pattern hair loss |
Cosmetic Dermatology - Sclerotherapy to treat leg/varicose veins
- Microdermabrasion using the Parisian peel to treat fine wrinkling and photo-aged skin - Laser surgery/procedures are now available at our Lebanon office. It is equipped with two selective lasers:
- A pulsed dye laser for selective destruction and treatment of vascular lesions, such as port-wine birthmarks, hemangiomas, telangiectasias, as well as certain warts, hypertrophic scars and stretch marks.
- A long pulse high energy alexandrite laser for safe removal of unwanted facial and body hair.
Dermatologic Surgery We also evaluate and remove moles, warts, skin tags, and cysts. Skin cancer evaluation and
surgery is an important part of our practice, as well as the evaluation and treatment of other degenerative processes of the skin due to aging or sun exposure. Skin Pathology
An important dimension to our practice is our Skin Pathology Laboratory. All
skin biopsy specimens are interpreted by board certified Dermatopathologists. Dermatopathology consultative services are available to other physicians upon request.
